About Bacita Group
Our Story
Following the privatization of government owned companies in the 90s, the defunct Nigeria Sugar company was sold to the Josepdam Sugar Company Limited.
By 2011, Josepdam also became defunct and by 2016, its assets were taken over under a receivership administration by the Asset Management Company of Nigeria (AMCON).

In 2021, KIA Africa Group acquired the facility and established the Bacita Group of Companies. Our focus is on the production, storage, processing and refining of agricultural products including sugarcane, maize and soybean.
